The UIC Ready Internship Program provides bright, motivated, and civic-minded undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to apply their coursework to the critical emergency management and public safety issues facing the public and private sectors. Interns will work hand-in-hand with Office of Preparedness and Response staff, UIC and local first responders, support agencies, and stakeholders to develop plans, deliver recommendations, and implement programs that will help the university and its students, faculty and staff become more resilient.
