Night Ride
On-call free transportation service operating during evenings to provide a safe after-hours transit option within the coverage area.
The Night Ride must be scheduled through the UIC Ride App.
You’ll need to download the app and create an account. UIC Ride provides real-time tracking for the UIC Shuttle and the Night Ride.
- Available: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 7 days per week
UIC Shuttle
Transportation Services operates a number of buses that provide free transportation for students, faculty, and staff to various points on campus.
A valid UIC identification card (i-card) must be presented to the driver when boarding.
All bus services can be tracked in real-time using the free UIC Ride app, and they are accessible and available to persons with disabilities.

Paratransit & ADA Services
Accessible on-campus paratransit service is provided by UIC Transportation Services. However, approval must be obtained from the appropriate university office prior to requesting service.
- Students should contact the Disability Resource Center at (312) 413-2183.
- Faculty and staff should contact the Office of Access and Equity at (312) 996-8670.
Once your current Letter of Authorization (LOA) has been received, all you have left to do is submit your schedule and adhere to the following guidelines in order to take complete advantage of our program. Remember, UIC offers premium paratransit service as outlined by the ADA/FTA but we need your help in order to continue to enhance our tradition of excellence.
