Emergency Management Heading link
The UIC Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) addresses the university’s capability of preparing for, mitigating the effects of, responding to, and recovering from all-hazards which may occur at UIC. The plan establishes a single, comprehensive framework for management of a local disaster/emergency. It also provides a structure and mechanism for coordination with federal, state, and local authorities.
In case of a disaster/emergency, all areas of the campus community are required to cooperate with requests from the Chancellor’s Emergency Operations Policy Group and the Campus Incident Response Team.
