Introduction

Wondering where to start or how a completed BIA or BCP looks? Do you have questions about a planning section or task? Within Riskonnect, there are several sample BIAs and BCPs for your guidance. They are identified by the “*Sample” at the beginning of their titles based on five broad categories of common UIC functions including: Business Operations, Healthcare, Instruction, Research Laboratory, and Technology.

To access these examples:

“Access the BC&R Platform”
Within the login page, Click the “Sign in With Single Sign-On” button and utilize your UIC information.
In the top blue header, you will find the “BIAs” and “Plans” sections.
There you click on “BIAs” or “Plans”. You will be taken to a list of sample BIAs or Plans that are there for your access.
Click on a title that begins with “* Sample” to view each BIA or Plan.
