EOPG Advisory Working Group
In Spring of 2022, the Chancellor’s Emergency Operations Group (EOPG) stood up an Advisory Working Group devoted to a broad range of strategic and operational issues regarding the university’s preparation for, response to, and recovery from potential crises. The EOPG Advisory Working Group (AWG) provides objective advice to the EOPG and examines issues related to UIC's emergency operations, Clery Act compliance, and continuity planning efforts. The work of the AWG is devoted to a broad range of topics, including, but not limited to, emergency coordination, crisis management, and community resiliency. These areas all contribute to maintaining an overall safe environment conducive to living, learning, and working together. The members are responsible for exchanging information and reporting results of meetings to their respective Vice Chancellors and/or principal EOPG member(s).
