Accounting for People During Crisis Events
Immediately following an evacuation, occupants should attempt to identify missing persons and relay the names and suspected location to UICPD or emergency response personnel.
It is the responsibility of supervisors and faculty to ensure that employees or students are familiar with evacuation routes, designated Evacuation Assembly Areas, Areas of Rescue Assistance, and other procedures related to life safety and security. Supervisors and faculty should take account of their faculty, staff, or students once evacuated and notify UICPD or emergency response personnel of missing persons.
